The Kailash Manimahesh Yatra Trek is a sacred Himalayan pilgrimage dedicated to Lord Shiva, located in the Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh. The yatra leads to the holy Manimahesh Lake, situated at the base of the majestic Manimahesh Peak, famous for its natural Shivling-shaped snow formation. Considered the Kailash of Himachal, this yatra is a perfect blend of spirituality, devotion, and Himalayan trekking.
The journey begins and ends at Bharmour, an ancient town known for the Chaurasi (84) Temples, including the revered Dharmraj and Chitragupt Temples. A visit to Bharmani Mata Temple is considered essential before starting the yatra. The trek passes through Hadsar, Dhancho, and Gauri Kund, offering breathtaking mountain views and a deeply spiritual experience.
Bharmour, Chamba and Manimahesh Tour Itinerary
In the afternoon, proceed for darshan at the famous Chaurasi (84) Temples Complex, one of the most important religious sites in Himachal Pradesh. The complex houses 84 ancient temples, including the revered Dharmraj (Yamraj) Temple and Chitragupt Temple, where pilgrims seek blessings before starting the Manimahesh Yatra. Visiting these temples is believed to bring spiritual purification and a successful yatra.
Spend some time exploring the peaceful surroundings and local culture of Bharmour. In the evening, return to the hotel.
Overnight stay at Bharmour.
The trekking route passes through beautiful waterfalls, rocky mountain paths, and scenic Himalayan landscapes. Reach Dhancho by evening and check in to the camp / guesthouse.
Overnight stay at Dhancho.
En route, Continue the trek to reach the holy Manimahesh Lake, Pilgrims take a holy dip in the lake (weather permitting) and perform Manimahesh Kailash Darshan, enjoying the divine view of the Shivling-shaped snow peak
Overnight stay near Manimahesh Lake / Gauri Kund.
Upon reaching Hadsar, proceed by jeep back to Bharmour.Tour ends with safe Sweet memories and blessings of Manimahesh ji 🙏

- Mineral water bottles are not included. Pilgrims should carry their own water bottle.
- Manimahesh Yatra registration / permit is not included. Registration must be done by the pilgrims themselves.
- Meals not mentioned in the itinerary (lunch, Day 01 & Day 04 meals).
- Personal expenses such as snacks, tea, porter/pony charges, tips, and laundry.
- Medical expenses, emergency evacuation, or hospitalization (if required).
- Any cost due to weather conditions, road blockage, landslides, or government rules.
- Anything not mentioned under Package Inclusions.

- All pilgrims must be physically fit to undertake the Manimahesh Yatra Trek.
- The itinerary may be changed or adjusted due to weather conditions, road blocks, or local authority instructions.
- Accommodation provided will be basic in nature, as per availability in high-altitude areas.
- The tour operator will not be responsible for loss of luggage, valuables, or personal belongings.
- Pilgrims must follow instructions given by tour staff and local authorities during the yatra.
- Any additional expenses due to delays, natural calamities, or medical emergencies shall be borne by the guest.
- Participation in the yatra is at the pilgrim’s own risk.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
- Full refund will be provided only if the cancellation is informed at least 30 days prior to the tour start date.
- In case of timely cancellation, guests may choose either a full refund or transfer the booking to next year.
- If the tour is cancelled due to bad weather, natural calamities, or unavoidable circumstances, the amount will be adjusted for the next available date or next year’s yatra.
- No refund will be given for last-minute cancellations or no-show.
